I do feel a little isolated though because we haven't quite figured out our phone situation yet. We have a calling card but we can't get it to work and our vonage phone won't work until we get set up in our home. We have been able to skype so that is good. And it is only temporary once we find a house we should be good to go. For now we are watching German cartoons and the one English speaking station on the TV.
Last night The Grimms ( a couple that was also stationed in Oklahoma before) met us and we went out to eat in a little Italian restaurant. So glad we went up with them because the menu was in Italian and German. They helped us figure things out. Carolyn can now say Thank you in German.
This is the front of our hotel/apartment.

This is the street right outside the hotel. There are tons of shops and restaurants within walking distance which is great since we haven't gotten our car yet.
So excited to get our double stroller back next week. They are delivering our first shipment of stuff next Friday. For now this is Carolyn's primary mode of transportation.
Just a little sitting area that we ate lunch in today. It was kind of cold the first day we got here but was so nice today.
Sidney decided that she wanted to walk up and down the alley while we ate supper outside tonight. The great thing about is that she could.
We are so lucky that they have done so well so far.
